"And, for what it’s worth, I’d pick you over a thousand ordinary and extraordinary friends. I think even if we just met on the street, even if I just saw you in passing, I’d know what you are." Nehemia
"An assassin?" Celaena
"The sister of my heart." Nehemia

The Books
Usually when the protagonist of the book is a kick ass girl, she's considered "one of the boys", so her friendships with other female characters is secondary or nonexistent.
In this case it's different. Celaena and Nehemia are true friends. They talk about everything. Boys, their lifes, books, magic, even politics, theys go on walks, they have breakfasts in bed and they don't agree on everything.
They have a real relationship and a great friendship and it's truly a breath of fresh air.

The Original Cover
My Country's Covers (Spain)
The first one? Yes, of course I love it. The second one? Not so much, pretty boring.
Favorite Cover
As much I love the darker version of this cover, this one is my favorite and the one I own. There's something about white book covers that just appeal to me.
I'm actually loving the second cover from your country! I think it's cool! :D
ResponderEliminarMy Book Traveling Thursday!
I forget about this feature every week, but really need to check it out. The book covers we find in South Africa also tend to differ. Will try to do this tomorrow....
